Apeiron CAD privacy.

Apeiron CAD is a business tool for private security companies. It collects only what a dispatch operation needs to run safely — and it never sells that data, uses it for advertising, or trains AI on it.

Our role

A security company uses Apeiron CAD to run its own operations. That company decides what to collect and how to use it — it is the controller of the data. Apeiron Labs provides the software and acts as a processor / service provider, handling data on the company’s behalf and under its instructions. If you’re a guard or client, the security company you work with is your first point of contact for your data.

Information we collect

• Account and role information for owners, supervisors, dispatchers, guards, and client users — such as name, contact details, and role.
• Operational records — shifts and schedules, on-duty status, incidents, reports (which can include photos and signatures), checkpoint scans, patrol activity, messages, and daily activity logs.
• Location data — a guard’s device location while on shift, and the location attached to check-ins, checkpoint scans, and SOS alerts.
• Credential information — certifications and their expiration dates, where the company chooses to track them.

Why location — and the limits on it

Location is the most sensitive thing Apeiron CAD touches, so we’re specific about it. It exists to keep guards safe and dispatch effective: to show live status on the board, route the nearest officer to an incident, verify that a guard is on-site for a check-in or checkpoint, and send help fast when someone triggers a silent SOS.

• Location is collected in the context of work — primarily during shifts and duty-related actions — not to follow anyone through their personal life.
• Location data is never sold and is never used for advertising.
• Collection uses battery-smart techniques and is governed by the security company’s settings and by the operating-system permissions on the guard’s device, which the guard can manage in device settings.

How we use this information

• To coordinate officers and manage incidents, patrols, and checkpoints.
• To generate reports and daily activity records.
• To run scheduling and track credentials.
• To power safety features like silent SOS and “guard went dark” detection.

We do not sell operational or location data, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it.

Who has access to your data

• The security company that operates Apeiron CAD, through role-based access so people see only what their role allows (owner, supervisor, dispatcher, guard, or client).
• Clients — only what the security company chooses to share with them through their portal.
• Our infrastructure providers — a limited set of services used to run the platform, processing data only as needed to provide it.

Each security company’s data is kept isolated from every other company’s. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

Data retention

Operational records — including incidents, reports, and location tied to duty actions — are retained according to the security company’s needs and its own record-keeping obligations. When the relationship ends, data is handled per the agreement with that company.

Your rights

If you’re a guard, client, or other user, requests about your personal data — access, correction, or deletion — generally start with the security company that operates Apeiron CAD, since they control the data. We’ll support them in honoring valid requests, including those under laws such as the CCPA, GDPR, and VCDPA. You can also reach us at the address below.

Children

Apeiron CAD is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data in Apeiron CAD, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and per-company isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but minimizing what’s collected and tightly scoping who can see it are core to the design.

Changes to this policy

Because the product is still being built, this policy may change as features are finalized. We’ll update the effective date above and post the current version here.
